Who provides Sibyl
Sibyl is operated by Meridion Labs, Inc. . These terms are an agreement between you and Meridion Labs, Inc. . Throughout this document, "we" and "us" mean Meridion Labs, Inc. .
What Sibyl is
Sibyl produces interpretive readings, drawing on traditions of face reading and palmistry. Readings are generated by an AI model.
What Sibyl is not
Sibyl is not a source of medical, psychological, legal, financial, or relationship advice, and must not be used as one. Its readings are not predictions, diagnoses, or statements of fact, and no outcome is guaranteed. Do not make consequential decisions on the basis of a reading. If you need professional help, please consult a qualified professional.
Whose photos you may use
Sibyl can read a photo of you, or a photo of someone you know. When you choose a reading about another person, you confirm in the app that you know them and that you take responsibility for the reading and anything you do with it.
Do not submit photographs of children, of strangers, or of anyone who has asked you not to. Do not use a photograph you obtained without permission to have it, and do not use Sibyl to build a reading about someone with the intention of embarrassing, pressuring, or harming them.
A reading about another person is an interpretation written from a photograph and a birth date. It is not a description of who they are, and it is not something they have agreed to. Treat it accordingly before you share it.
Acceptable use
Do not use Sibyl to harass anyone, to make decisions about another person's employment, housing, credit, or insurance, or to attempt to identify a stranger. Do not attempt to interfere with, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
Purchases in the app
Your first reading is free to generate, and shows the result card and the first of its four sections in full. The remaining sections, and any further readings, require a subscription, billed through your Apple or Google account and charged at the point of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Manage or cancel at any time in your store account settings; cancelling takes effect at the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
Purchases on the web
Purchases at sibylastro.com are sold by Meridion Labs, Inc. and processed by Stripe, in US dollars.
Your first reading on the web is free, and shows the result card with a preview of each of its four sections. The sections themselves, and any further readings, need one of:
- A monthly subscription (US$9.99 a month) or a yearly subscription (US$59.99 a year). Both are charged when you subscribe and renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel at any time from Settings → Manage subscription; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and are not charged again.
- A single reading (US$4.99), charged once and never renewed. It unlocks one reading: the sections of your free reading, or a whole new reading.
If a reading you paid for fails to arrive, it is not used up, and you can try again. If something has gone wrong with a purchase, write to support@sibylastro.com. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law where you live.
Fair use
A subscription includes unlimited readings for your own personal use. The only thing we ask is that they are yours: generating readings by script, bot, or any automated means, or reselling access, is not personal use and we may suspend an account that does it. Ordinary heavy use is not a problem — if you want a reading every day, that is what the subscription is for.
Availability
Sibyl is provided as-is. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may change or discontinue features. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app.
